Reed’s engineering and manufacturing specialists are recruiting for a Quality Inspector position at a manufacturer of fabricated metal products near Sawbridgeworth.
This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of up to £35k per annum depending on experience.
Candidates should have experience in a precision engineering environment, with familiarity in GD&T measurement and ISO9001 standards.
Experience with CMM programming is desirable, but training can be provided for those without it.

We are working with a manufacturer of fabricated metal products who are looking to appoint a Quality Inspector.

This is a full time permanent position based at their machine shop near Sawbridgeworth.

Our client is paying up to £35k per annum depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in a precision engineering environment, and ideally the use of a CMM (although training can be given on this machine).

Responsibilities:

- First off, and final inspections

- Maintain QMS

- Maintain conformances in production

- Maintain equipment calibration

Skills / Experience required:

- Precision engineering background

- Experience of GD&T measurement

- CMM programming desirable

- Familiar with ISO9001 standards
