Job Title: Distribution Team Leader
Salary: 30,000 - 34,000 per annum
Location: Harlow,Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm
Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experiencedDistribution Team Leader to oversee day-to-day operations within our client distribution and assembly team. Reporting to theDistribution Manager, you will ensure efficient order management, quality standards, and on-time deliveries while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Distribution & Assembly Operatives, driving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage workload priorities, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Conduct team meetings, 1-2-1s, and training, while monitoring KPIs and maintaining records.
- Oversee inventory management, incoming goods processing, and equipment monitoring.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance, reporting accidents and near misses, and implementing corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team and area.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven leadership experience in a logistics/manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of stock control, SAP, and Microsoft programs.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Forklift license (preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure with a "can do" attitude.
