Role:Project Planner
Location:Harlow

We are currently in the process of hiring a Project Planner to oversee the logistics, budgets, and scheduling of alarge-scale construction project located on a major framework based in Harlow, with one of our longest-tenured clients.

You will be expected to ensure the successful and smooth operation of packages through client and stakeholder liaison and weekly programme meetings. You will work underneath the Senior Planner and alongside relevant Project Managers to prepare work programs per their guidelines and monitor the progress of projects to ensure completion within the specified budgets and schedules.

As a construction Project Planner, your principal roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Establish working relationships with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Establish and implement the Project Management Plan.
  • Develop the project budget and manage expenditure to achieve completion within budget.
  • Establish and control the project master program.
  • Monitor compliance with the construction program and identify mitigation plans if the project is delayed.
  • Proactively identify risks and formulate risk mitigation plans.
  • Provide regular reporting on project progress, risks, and costings.
  • Assess and resolve all site coordination issues.
  • Carry out contract administration duties including issuing payment certificates.
  • Assist in managing the planning and implementation of all Health & Safety protocols before and during construction.
  • Manage and coordinate the project handover and close-out phases.
Job requirements:
  • Must have 3+ years of Construction Planning experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6.
  • Excellent Communication, Organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
