Live Role: Quantity Surveyor
A well-established main contractor, with over 80 years of experience, is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team near the M11 Junction (Essex/Herts). The role offers a great package and opportunities for progression.
- Salary: 65,000 - 70,000
- Car Allowance: 10% of salary
- Bonus: Lucrative bonus structure, achieved annually (sometimes twice)
- Holidays: 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + extra days off over Christmas
- Projects: Education, commercial, public buildings, and social housing refurbishments
- Location: Predominantly office-based (4 days/week) with 1 site visit per week
- Workload: A mix of SOR, JCT, NEC contracts, valuations, traditional sector projects
- Experience Required:
- Previous experience overseeing a variety of main contracting projects
- Strong understanding of cash flows and CVRs
- Proactive and IT literate
- Company Overview: Medium-sized contractor with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects across general sectors
