Commercial Administrator

Full time office based - working across 2 sites Enfield Lock & Harlow Mills

37.5 hours per week - £26-28,000 per annum subject to experience

The Commercial department provides critical support to the rest of the  Packaging business through:

  • maintaining accurate customer and pricing data, including customer rebates
  • Supporting Head of Commercial & Business intelligence with maintaining and updating system cost
  • administering customer ordering portals and websites
  • investigating and processing customer returns and credits
  • providing administrative support for the ordering and invoicing of bespoke customer stock
  • identifying and then supporting the implementation of improvements to internal processes
  • other general administration support to the business

The Commercial Assistant will be involved in performing various aspects of the above departmental responsibilities.

We therefore require someone who is organized and able to perform (or quickly learn to perform) a range of computer-based administrative tasks in a methodical and timely manner. Being able to multitask and performing tasks accurately and with speed is therefore critical to being able to adequately support both the department and the business in achieving its growth ambitions.

Main Duties:

  • Setting up new, and amending existing, customer records on our Sage X3 ERP system
  • Administrating the sign off process for customer bespoke orders
  • Uploading invoices to customers portals to ensure prompt payment
  • Ensuring orders received electronically are processing on time through our ERP
  • Investigating customer credit requests and raising customer credits or returns
  • Providing general support to the rest of the Commercial team as and when required
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Commercial Manager from time to time.
