GSL Education are looking for a committed and enthusiastic HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) for a position starting ASAP 

This HLTA position will cover throughtout Key Stage 2 classes through this delightful Primary School in Harlow. The position will include covering whole classes at times of Teacher PPA, as well as assisting small groups of children with maths and phonics.

HLTA Responsibilities:

• To help the class teachers motivate and support the development of children.
• To teach various classes throughout the week, covering the class teacher.
• To act on their own initiative in preparing and supporting the various classes.
• To prepare and deliver learning activities for small groups and the whole class.
• To develop and maintain professional relationships with staff, pupils and parents.

The successful HLTA will:

• Have an up-to-date Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service.
• Have strong references that highlight your outstanding classroom ability.
• Have relevant experience supporting pupils in UK Primary Schools.

This HLTA position is offered on a long-term contract basis with the option to progress into a permanent role. The Primary School is located in Harlow with easy access to bus services and overground train services.

Contract length: 16 weeks 

Pay: £95.00-£130.00 per day
