Fire Alarm Engineer | South East London | 8.00am until 16:30 Monday to Friday | £36,000 to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Our client is an established Fire & Security Company based in Harlow, Essex. They have experienced significant growth over the past few years and are looking for a Security Engineer to join their existing team in London.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Experience in fault finding essential
- Experience in taking downloads on addressable systems
- Experience in the Fire industry is essential (minimum of 2 years).
- Knowledge of Kentec, Morley, Advance, Siemens, CTEC panels desired
- An understanding of the relevant British Standards for Fire Alarms (BS5839-1 and BS5839-6)
- FIA certification desired
- Take ownership and responsibility of tasks and to ensure they are completed within deadlines
- Deliver customer service to the highest level
- IT skills including Outlook and Excel an advantage
- Must have a permanent right to work in the UK
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence
What will your role look like?
You will be responsible for delivering a high class of customer service to customers, incorporating the following activities:-
- Carrying out PPM (preventative planned maintenance) on Fire detection and AOV systems
- Carrying out reactive fault calls
- Carrying out small works
- Working as part of a team
- Conduct site surveys to assist the office-based estimator in quoting for small works
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Understand the client KPI's associated with planned and reactive calls
- Out of hours London callout rota one in eight weeks
