Job Title: Sewing Machine Operator
Salary: £22,500 - £26,000
Location: Harlow
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5:30pm

COMPANY PROFILE:
My client who is a leading large format print company, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sewing Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a crucial part of our fabric department, contributing to the finishing of fabric graphics that are utilized in high-end retail outlets and exhibition stands. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of 60 professionals in a collaborative and innovative environment.
 
 
SKILLS REQUIRED:
 
·Proven experience as a Sewing Machine Operator, preferably in a large format print or similar production environment albeit training will be given.
·High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
·Strong commitment to quality and excellence in workmanship.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
·Strong organisational and time management skills.
·Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
·Operate sewing machines to stitch keder into the edges of large format graphics.
·Sew pockets and hems into fabric graphics, ensuring high precision and quality.
·Assist with various finishing tasks within the fabric department to meet production deadlines.
·Maintain sewing equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
·Follow detailed instructions and specifications to ensure consistent and high-quality output.
·Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
·Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
·Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote a safe and efficient working environment.

·20 days holiday, increasing year on year to a maximum of 25 days.
