We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEMH LSA (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Learning Support Assistant) to join our secondary schools in Harlow. Starting immediately, the SEMH LSA will play a critical role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges, helping them to engage positively with their education and achieve their full potential.

As a SEMH LSA, you will work closely with teaching staff, providing tailored 1:1 and group support to students who may display challenging behavior or have specific emotional needs. Your responsibilities as the SEMH LSA will include assisting in creating an inclusive classroom environment, implementing personalized learning plans, and using de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe and positive atmosphere. This position is an excellent opportunity for those with experience in pastoral care, SEN, or similar fields and a strong understanding of the unique needs of students with SEMH.
