Support Worker - Housing - Young People
Our client is a a social justice charity that promotes resilience and independence through a variety of services including, housing, education, health & wellbeing. Location: Harlow & Loughton areaThey have a temporary requirement for a Support Worker who has experience working with young people who are leaving care or who are experiencing relationship breakdown within the family.
To be considered for this role you MUST be a driver with your own car and hold business insurance, you must also hold a valid Enhanced Children and Adult DBS.
The main purpose of the role will be to improve young peoples lives by working collaboratively with multi agencies.
This includes carrying out initial assessments on service users, act as a role model for service user, promote service users personal safety and manage external complaints promptly which includes challenging anti social behaviour.
The role works are 6-9 properties.
£14.71ph PAYE, £19.22ph Umbrella
Please note there are shift requirements in this role -
Early 8am-4pm, late 12pm - 8pm, 1 weekend in 4 and 1 late in 3 in a month.
