The Role
As our Head Chef, youll be more than just a culinary leaderyoull play a pivotal role in shaping the entire restaurant experience. From advising on potential locations to designing innovative menus and finalising the overall concept, youll work closely with our founding team to bring our vision to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Development: Design a standout menu that fuses Asian flavours with innovative concepts, focusing on shareable dishes and signature creations.
- Concept Finalisation: Chinese, Korean and Indonesian cuisines, complete from understanding costs, sourcing and operations
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all kitchen operations, including hiring, training, and managing the kitchen team to maintain exceptional standards.
- Budget Management: Work with management to manage food costs, supplier relationships, and inventory control.
- Restaurant Management: Leverage your front-of-house experience to contribute to a cohesive dining experience, bridging the gap between kitchen and service teams.
About You
- Proven experience as an Head Chef in high-quality establishments.
- Previous experience in restaurant management, with strong knowledge of operations and guest service.
- Expertise in Asian cuisine and fusion concepts is a strong advantage.
- Creative vision paired with strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for start-ups and new concepts.
