C&N Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef for a fine dining restaurant based in Harpenden, this award-winning restaurant is looking to build the brigade and we are on the search for a passionate, experienced Sous Chef that assist the Head Chef to take the restaurant to the next level.
You will have input into the menus, specials, choosing suppliers, as well as working with some of the finest ingredients a restaurant can offer.
The Head chef comes from a Michelin restaurant background and wants to pass on his experience to his chefs.
Responsibilities:
- Menu design
- Teach the lower chefs more skills.
- Manage the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.
- Comply and manage all health and safety in the kitchen.
- Monitor wastage.
- Work with the Head chef on suppliers.
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
- Fine dining experience.
