In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of medium-sized clients and provide strategic financial guidance while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
The position requires a qualified ACCA or ACA professional with a proven track record in an accounting firm and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Candidates should have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and/or Xero.
The salary for this position is up to £60k, depending on experience, and includes 23 days of holiday and flexible working hours.

Statutory Accounts Preparation: Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.
Strategic Financial Guidance: Offer strategic financial advice to clients, delivering insights that support their decision-making processes.
Process Optimisation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and improve overall efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations.
Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

ACCA or ACA Qualified/Near Qualified: Demonstrate your professional qualifications.
Experience: Proven track record in an accounting firm.
Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Software Proficiency: Skilled in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks and/or Xero is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
