Job Title: Conveyancing Paralegal – Harpenden
A well-established law firm in Harpenden has a vacancy for a Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join its growing conveyancing team. This firm is known for its excellent work-life balance and supportive environment.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Processing Land Registry applications and registrations
- Conducting priority searches, bankruptcy searches and Land Registry checks
- Preparing contract packs and handling pre- and post-completion tasks
- Drafting and submitting SDLT returns to HMRC
About You:
- Have at least 12 months' experience of assisting fee-earners in a busy conveyancing department
- Familiarity with Land Registry and SDLT submission portals
- Excellent attention to detailÂ
