Then look no further, as our client an award winning, multi office independent Estate Agent, are looking for a confident, dynamic Mortgage Advisor to join their busy office in Harpenden. Always offering excellent customer service to their clients they also pride themselves on their excellent local market knowledge, providing first class Estate Agency, Letting Agency, and New Homes to various locations. The ideal candidate must have been writing mortgages for a minimum of 1 year, with protection experience being a bonus. You must be personable, feel confident with dealing in the high end market, and works well within a team in a busy environment. The role will be looking after the Welwyn, Harpenden and Berkhamsted offices, and you can choose which office to work from that works best for you, and there will be Mortgage Administrators supporting the role. Salary package and benefits of the Mortgage Advisor role include:
- Basic £30,000 - £32,000
- OTE £52,000 +
- Tiered commission structure
- Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays (Saturdays can be worked from home)

Key responsibilities for the Mortgage Advisor role include:
- Converting leads
- Keeping up to date with the current market and law
- Working closely with clients

- Applying your expert knowledge of the industry
Skills and experience required for the Mortgage Advisor role include:
- 1 years experience writing mortgages
- Ideally protection experience
- Be fully CeMAP qualified
- Personable, dynamic and confident
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and works well within a team
- Well spoken with strong communication skills
- Smart and well presented
- Ambitious and self-motivated
- Able to thrive under pressure
