We are currently supporting a Post 16 SEND charity in their search for a passionate Work Placement/Job Coach to join our growing team and contribute to their mission of empowering learners to succeed in the workplace.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work directly with learners on employers' premises to help them develop essential workplace skills.
  • Conduct workshops to assist a small group of learners in applying skills and overcoming barriers to employment success.
  • Collaborate with our social enterprises, including the Harrogate Chocolate Factory and Café, to provide practical training opportunities.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, including the opportunity to work towards accredited qualifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • GCSEs in English Language and Maths grades 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent, e.g., Level 2 Functional Skills.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
  • Experience working with young people and adults with SEND and/or Autism is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Systematic Instruction is a plus.
  • Excellent patience, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to high-quality learning opportunities and adherence to Health and Safety and Equality and Diversity guidelines.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to handle challenging situations calmly.
