- Carrying out audits both on-site and in the office.
- Completing relevant sections of the audit file as discussed and agreed.
- For some smaller clients, you would be responsible for the planning of the audit file right through to the completion sections, including drafting the financial statements.
- Communicate with the audit supervisors regularly on the audit and make recommendations to them on how the clients can improve their accounting systems and controls.
- Perform ‘accounts preparation’ jobs.
- Studying towards AAT, ACA, ACCA etc
- Strong audit experience, with a minimum of 2 years’ Practice experience working as an Auditor, in either a mixed Audit and Accounts role or a sole Audit role.
- Feel comfortable and confident forming relationships with clients and colleagues.
