An exciting opportunity is available for an Auditor to join a well-established Chartered Accountants firm in Harrogate.
This trainee position allows for growth within the expanding team, offering a range of accountancy, tax, and audit services.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' practice experience in auditing and be studying towards AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualifications.
The salary for this position ranges from £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, with benefits including flexible working times and enhanced annual leave.

Exciting opportunity for an Auditor to join a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in their growing team based in Harrogate.This firm offer a full range of accountancy, tax, and audit services for their wide range of clients. This is a trainee position where there is room for you to progress and grow with this firm as they add to their expanding team.As an Auditor, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out audits both on-site and in the office.
Completing relevant sections of the audit file as discussed and agreed.
For some smaller clients, you would be responsible for the planning of the audit file right through to the completion sections, including drafting the financial statements.
Communicate with the audit supervisors regularly on the audit and make recommendations to them on how the clients can improve their accounting systems and controls.
Perform ‘accounts preparation’ jobs.

For a successful application as an Auditor, you must be:

Studying towards AAT, ACA, ACCA etc
Strong audit experience, with a minimum of 2 years’ Practice experience working as an Auditor, in either a mixed Audit and Accounts role or a sole Audit role.
Feel comfortable and confident forming relationships with clients and colleagues.
