Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large public sector organisation to recruit a Finance Officer on a 12 months basis. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking to make a difference in a dynamic and welcoming team. The opportunity will be hybrid working and will be an immediate start for the successful candidate.Â
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for raising all the invoices, creating customers, and chasing age debt
- Processing of invoices for payment on the computerised accounting system, in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
- Accountable for the reconciliation of supplier statements & investigating outstanding invoices
- To provide assistance and advice to suppliers regarding routine and complex queries on invoices received or payments made
- To provide financial and non-financial assistance and advice to other staff and senior managers throughout the Trust
Person:
- Excellent system skills, experience of using Oracle a desirable Â
- Can work own their own or part of a team when needed
- Great communications skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
