Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting for aFinancial Controller to join a progressive business based in Harrogate. You will be instrumental in overseeing financial operations while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. You will play a key role in internal audits, financial reporting, and supporting the company's goals through robust processes. Your expertise will enhance strategic decision-making and maintain the integrity of financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Lead internal audit processes to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Analyse financial data and identify areas for process improvement.
- Preparation of statutory accountants.
- Work closely with external auditors and collaborate on audit documentation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting guidelines, including statutory audits.
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified Financial Controller
- Proven experience in financial reporting and internal audit processes
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex financial information simply and clearly.
