Are you an experienced financial professional eager to make an impact in a growing private equity-backed business? We're looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join our clients Harrogate office . This is a hands-on role in a dynamic environment, offering the opportunity to work across multiple subsidiaries and currencies while contributing to the company's continued success.
About the Role:
As a Group Financial Accountant, you'll ensure the smooth preparation and consolidation of financial accounts while maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards. This position plays a key role in supporting the wider business, collaborating with teams across subsidiaries, and working on complex, multi-currency transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the consolidation of group financial accounts across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle multi-currency financial reporting, including monitoring foreign exchange impacts
- Partner with colleagues across the business to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Contribute to the development of robust internal controls while ensuring finance operations remain compliant with UK GAAP/IFRS regulations.
About You:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience in a Financial Accountant role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with an understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and consolidation requirements
- Excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business
