Sewell Wallis are working with a large multi-site business based near Harrogate, supporting them with their search for a Senior Financial Accountant. This organisation are UK leaders within their industry and due to their large finance function, offer many career opportunities for progressive accountants. What will you be doing?

  • Business partnering with HR and other non finance departments.
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Ensuring robust financial controls are implemented across the team.
  • Assisting with the delivery of continuous process and control improvements.
  • Preparation, review and submission of all information required from junior team members for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Supporting with tax reporting and compliance.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ongoing projects.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ACCA. from a recognisable accountancy firm.
  • Strong financial reporting, audit and accounts preparation background.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment.
  • Ambitious individual who is self motivated.
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
