Our client is seeking a diligent and organised Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have some Finance experience with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you have a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The role is Hybrid with 3 days based in Harrogate and 2 from home.
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of supplier invoices
- Handle credit card transactions
- Maintain the accounts payable email account
- Manage a paperless filing system
- Address invoice queries and conduct supplier reconciliations
- Set up new supplier accounts
- Accurately input all data
- Collect and distribute daily post
- Answer telephone enquiries with a pleasant manner
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required

Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Outlook, Office, and Excel; experience with Navision is desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive 'can-do' attitude

- Good general standard of education
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable
- Methodical approach to work with great attention to detail
