Accounts Payable Assistant, £26,000, Harrogate, Hybrid 12-month contract, opportunity that the role may become permanent.

Do you have experience within Accounts Payable? Have you worked with high volumes? Due to business levels this exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join an established team.

You will ensure the successful operation of the Accounts Payable process responsible for ensuring accuracy of all payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of invoices.

• Reconcile vendor and nominal accounts as part of the month end processes.

• Process payments both ad hoc and scheduled.

• Manage the Central mailbox to ensure all invoices are processed.

• Build working relationships with cross-functional teams.

• Assist line manager with any additional ad hoc tasks.

Skills Required:

• Previous Accounts Payable experience is essential.

• Experience of high volumes

• Proficient in using an accounting software.

• Excel skills

• Ability to work under pressure.

• Highly organised with a methodical approach

• Strong communication skills
