Finance Officer (Accounts Receivable) | £17 - £19 Per Hour | 12 Months Interim | Yorkshire

Castlefield Recruitment are working with an excellent public sector organisation in Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Finance Officer to their team on an interim basis for a initial 12 months. This role offers hybrid working and other great benefits.

Duties:

  • Chasing overdue invoices via email, telephone and through portals to ensure invoices get paid
  • Dealing with any overdue invoice related queries which are preventing invoices getting paid
  • Providing excellent customer service and negotiating payment plans where necessary
  • Allocating payments to correct payments and raising invoices where required
  • Updating the aged debt report frequently and reporting this to seniors

Experience:

  • Previous experience working with aged debt and chasing payments, preferably in the wider public sector (sector isn’t essential)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work independently
  • Great attention to detail and available to start next role immediately or on a short notice period
