Robert Half is working with a large business based in Harrogate to recruit for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a 6-month contract. The salary range for this role is £28,000 - £30,000.
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client's finance team on a 6-month contract basis. This role will involve processing and maintaining accurate financial records whilst working as part of a dynamic finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices and expense claims in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconciling supplier statements and managing supplier queries professionally
- Preparing and processing BACS payment runs
- Managing the purchase order system and ensuring compliance with company procedures
- Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
