Sewell Wallis are working with an industry leader within the Harrogate area, and they are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join them due to growth.

This role is joining a very exciting part of the business within the Business Development team and the successful candidate will be working very closely with the finance team.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills and have previous experience of dealing with both internal and external key stakeholders.

Past experience within finance or a degree in finance is desired but not essential.

What will you be doing?

  • Providing both analysis and financial support to the team.
  • Taking both a lead within projects and assisting the wider team with additional projects.
  • Assisting the team with both internal and external queries in a timely manner.
  • Assisting the team with speeding up processes.
  • Analysing and preparing financial data.
  • Liaising with the wider sales team.
  • Providing market intelligence and opportunities to streamline business.
  • Provide and support market intelligence for relevant sectors.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Strong Excel skills are essential, experience with SUMIFs and the ability to create own formulas is necessary.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset when it comes to solving problems.
  • Commercially focused.
