Robert Walters are delighted to be partnering alongside a PLC business with a nationwide presence. We're seeking a Data Analyst with experience using Tableau and SQL. The role will be a great opportunity to be part of an upcoming project across the business and be able to influence the future of the data function
Data Analyst Responsibilities
- Analyse large datasets and deliver actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
- Utilise dashboards, ETL pipelines, and curated data to generate insights that contribute to revenue growth and cost optimisation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and present complex concepts in an accessible manner for diverse audiences.
- Design, develop, and maintain intuitive, visually appealing Tableau dashboards, ensuring alignment with the group's style guide.
- Build and optimise ETL pipelines using Alteryx, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Integrate Alteryx with Snowflake for seamless access to curated data, enabling the development of new analytical use cases.
- Share knowledge and support team projects while fostering skill development within the group.
- Provide technical support, training, and guidance to business users, ensuring effective use of tools and processes.
- Conduct peer reviews of team members' work and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Partner with stakeholders to present insights and provide recommendations that drive better decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with data visualisation tools, particularly Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Proficient in creating dashboards that integrate multiple data sources and layouts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor your style to suit different audiences and influence others within the team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities, including the capacity to interpret complex business processes.
- Familiarity with programming languages (SQL and Python) are desirable.
- Experience in data engineering, including the use of tools like Alteryx to create ETL routines and data pipelines, is a plus.
