You will be located in Harrogate or able to reliably commute

You will have experience working in a food manufacturing role and forklift truck experience

The Role

We’re looking for Production Operatives to join our clients expanding FMCG manufacturing team. You will be joining a team that recognises and rewards individuals and provides an excellent and safe working environment. In this role, you’ll operate various machinery, perform routine maintenance, and ensure production targets are met in a safe and efficient manner. You will work across both day & night shift pattern that gives you 7 shifts in a 2-week period and every other weekend off!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating various machinery and ensuring consistent and accurate production.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Completing routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns.
  • Monitoring product quality throughout the production process.
  • Completing regular equipment inspections and reporting any issues or malfunctions.
  • Ensuring high standards of safety and hygiene throughout the facility.
  • Complete machine changeovers in an efficient and safe manner.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • A health and safety focused individual with an understanding of food safety regulations.
  • Understanding of HACCP principle would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills; confident both verbally and written.
  • Strong mechanical ability; able to operate and troubleshoot production equipment.
  • A Forklift Licence would be extremely advantageous - Additional bonus offered for FLT operators.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • UK resident residing within commutable distance to Harrogate; please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.
