Finance Manager, £52-55K, Harrogate

Hybrid working pattern.

Are you working in practice looking for a change? This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is part or fully qualified with a strong background in practice looking to move into industry.

You will be dealing with multiple clients providing regular updates and quarterly statements. The role involves business partnering with the wider business and you will be responsible for four direct reports.

Skills Required:

  • Practice experience
  • Part or fully qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or QBE with 5 years of experience
  • Strong financial, analytical modelling and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Ability to successfully handle several priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of accruals and prepayments and experience in the production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the monthly management accounts, balance sheet lead schedules and cashflow forecasts are processed.
  • Support with client annual statutory audits.
  • To review and approve client annual operating budgets before presentation to the client.
  • To attend and lead any client meetings from a Finance perspective.
  • Ensure the team provide the highest level of customer service.
  • To act as a business partner between finance and other departments.
  • Attend internal stakeholder meetings.
  • To ensure compliance with any statutory returns or accreditation requirements that arise

· Develop and set the team’s personal objectives.

  • Support on ad-hoc tasks and reporting.
