Finance Manager

The Role
The Finance Manager will be at the heart of the business's financial operations, driving the management accounting function and supporting strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial analysis, and providing insight that will shape business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts.
• Partner with department heads to provide valuable financial insight and support business planning.
• Drive continuous improvements in management reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing critical analysis and recommendations.
• Oversee a small team, mentoring and developing their skills to enhance overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and financial reporting standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with proven experience in management accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within professional services.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to handle large volumes of data with ease.
• A positive, hands-on attitude with the confidence to lead initiatives and drive change.
