Robert Half has partnered with a well-established business based in Boroughbridge. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who has experience managing a small finance team and enjoys working in a varied and busy finance role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentorship, training, and long-term development to the finance team
  • Offer expert guidance on complex financial queries, including payroll, payments, cash book, and journals
  • Review and improve financial controls while identifying and implementing operational efficiency
  • Manage all aspects of financial accounting to trial balance, including preparation of accruals and prepayments.
  • Deliver accurate and high-quality reporting while fostering effective working relationships within the finance team

Required:

  • QBE or a relevant finance qualification
  • Prior experience managing all aspects of a finance team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Robust character with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role
