Join a rapidly growing Professional Services firm as their Head of Financial Reporting, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the finance function for their advisory companies.

This is a newly created role in a thriving organisation, offering the chance to take ownership and make the position your own.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will:

  • Lead the finance function for their advisory companies, acting as the first point of contact for all finance-related queries.
  • Prepare and review management accounts on a monthly basis, and statutory accounts at year-end.
  • Oversee corporation tax, VAT filings, and compliance for all companies.
  • Manage payroll and company secretarial matters to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide leadership and development opportunities for a small, talented finance team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), ideally with a practice background.
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to deliver under pressure.
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
  • A well-organized and detail-oriented professional with the ability to prioritise and problem-solve.
