Role Responsibilities- Managing a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals and those with more complex affairs
- Reviewing tax returns and compliance work prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Providing clients with proactive, cost-effective tax planning and advisory services tailored to their needs
- Training, mentoring, and coaching junior team members to support their professional development
- Conducting research and preparing tax advisory reports on private client and employment tax matters
- Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to enhance client service and technical knowledge-sharing
- Assisting senior management and partners in improving efficiency and refining internal processes
- Identifying areas for process improvements and helping implement best practices within the tax department

Candidate Requirements- CTA qualified or qualified by experience
- Minimum of four years’ post-qualification experience in personal tax
- Strong technical expertise in personal and trust tax compliance and advisory services
- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
- Commercially aware, with a keen eye for identifying tax planning opportunities for clients
- Experience in supervising, mentoring, and developing junior team members
- Some exposure to tax advisory work (desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of other tax areas is beneficial but not required
- £45,000 to £50,000 per annum
