Financial Planning Paraplanner / Investment Research Analyst

Salary: 45k+ DOE
Location:
Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday - Hybrid Working Opportunities

The Client will consider Full Time & Part Time.

Key Responsibilities of the Paraplanner:

  • Acting as an initial point of contact between consultants, clients, and product providers
  • Preparing for client meetings
  • Researching the marketplace for suitable products in liaison with the consultant
  • Assisting with the management and oversight of model portfolios
  • Preparing compliant draft reports and suitability letters
  • Preparing draft reviews of existing client portfolios
  • Assisting consultants and administration team in ensuring compliance and company standard
  • Dealing with clients and product providers via email, telephone, and written correspondence
  • Referring any advice issues to the consultant
  • Maintaining office diary system
  • Valuation checking


Key Job Competencies of the Paraplanner:

  • Letter writing skills (including pension transfers)
  • Generic product knowledge
  • Client liaison skills
  • Knowledge and appreciation of compliance regulations
  • Diploma Level minimum (Chartered ideal)
  • Previous experience in a similar role
