Supported Living Deputy Manager – Harrogate
Salary: £15.50 per hour
Hours: 40 per week (rolling rota, including every other weekend)
Location: Harrogate, across two supported living schemes
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the delivery of high-quality care within supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. The role involves both hands-on support and administrative responsibilities, ensuring that care remains person-centred, compliant, and promotes independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting individuals to live independently, maintaining their homes, and engaging in community activities.
Managing staff allocations, recruitment, auditing, and care plan reviews to ensure person-centred care.
Overseeing training, rostering, finances, and medication management.
Ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and best practices.
Conducting supervisions, team meetings, and governance sessions.
Leading incident debriefs and supporting the team to maintain a positive environment.
Requirements:
Experience working in Supported Living.
Strong background in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
Knowledge of REACH standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to complete training, including behaviour management.
Schedule & Structure:
Rolling rota (every other weekend working).
Supporting 9 individuals across two schemes (HG1 5JQ & HG1 5DG).
Team of 40 staff including:
Registered Manager
Deputy Manager (this role)
2 x Senior Support Workers per scheme
Support Workers
Working hours:
2 admin days (9am – 5pm) at the registered office.
2 shift-leading days (8am – 8pm), one per scheme per week.
