NJR are currently working with a well established firm of Independent Financial Advisers who are now looking to expand by recruiting a pro-active and ambitious IFA Administrator to join their growing team based in Harrogate.

This role will work directly for a number of Financial Planners who advise clients on Whole of the Market products. Providing direct administration support in a demanding environment, the role will be varied; fast paced and offer ongoing training and development. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment where progression is supported for CII qualifications if desired.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing pre-meeting documentation for the Advisers
  • Processing new business applications
  • Creating Client Valuations & Illustrations
  • Chasing Letters of Authority
  • Liaising with Product Providers & third parties
  • File preparation for new clients and existing client reviews, including valuation reports (in line with MIFIID 2 legislation)
  • Keeping up to date with legislation and compliance changes
  • Administration tasks such as filing/scanning/faxing
  • Maintaining professional and ethical standards in accordance with regulatory principles for the business

Candidates applying must have previous experience working for a firm of Financial Planners, a Pensions Consultancy or a Provider background. You will understand who the industry works, and be keen to develop your skills and progress within Financial Planning.

Excellent communication skills are required. You will be smartly presented, offer first class communication skills, and have the ability to liaise with High Net Worth Individuals.
