We are currently looking for a Paraplanner to join our clients, a Financial Services Company with more than 45 years of experience in providing fully independent advice on pensions, investments, protection, tax and wealth management for individuals and companies.

They pride themselves in offering an expert and personal service for their clients in the Harrogate area.

Working hours:

As a paraplanner, you’ll be required to work Monday – Friday 9 am – 5.15 pm.

The successful Paraplanner will be offered:

£35,000- £45,000 salary based on experience
25 days holiday per annum plus statutory holidays
Pension Contribution
2x DIS

To be considered for the Paraplanner role you must have:

Good previous experience in Pensions and Investments gained in a similar role preferably with an IFA
Diploma qualified (or equivalent) preferred, but not essential depending on experience
You will be an excellent communicator both oral and written have strong telephone skills and strong systems and technical abilities including knowledge of Microsoft office software applications.
The ability to work on our own initiative and deal with general client enquiries in an efficient and organised manner is essential.
Demonstrate knowledge of and proficiency in research tools ideally including at least some of the following:
Pension Research: O&M
Fund and Portfolio Research: FE Analytics
Protection and Annuity Research: Avelo Exchange
Iress Database system

As a Paraplanner your role will involve:

Providing technical, research and administrative support
Production of compliant and detailed Suitability Reports
Ensure all client records are fully compliant and up to date
Annual client reviews
