Please find below details of a temporary position based at Harrogate hospital. The role is for 6-8 weeks and could go on longer.Patient Pathway support Administrator.

  • Hours of work Monday - Friday (37.5 hours) 8.30-5 or 8.30-4.30 (7.5 hour days with either 1 hour or 30 min lunch)
  • Fully office based- no hybrid working option
  • Work base address is Lancaster Park Road, Harrogate, HG2 7SX
  • Rate of pay £12. 08 per hour basic rate
  • 6-8 weeks could go on longer.

Job role

  • To ensure that medical records are retrieved from around the organisation and fromthe Medical Records Library using the appropriate aids (e.g. trollies/cages/stools)
  • Track medical records using the electronic training system using the 6 digit referencenumber.
  • Ensure that the correct stationery and referral letter is filed in the medical recordsready for the outpatient appointment.
  • Ensures that medical records are maintained to a high standard, repairing and creatingadditional volumes where necessary.
  • Input patient contact data onto the electronic patient administration system, adhering tothe set timetable..
  • Provide patients and staff with information regarding waiting times and criteria forprioritisation of referrals.
  • Make, change or cancel appointments on the phone in line with Trust policies
