Hotel Receptionist
£25,396.80, Harrogate town centre, 40 hours per week, working 5 days over 7 morning and evening shifts, immediate start temporary position with potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
We are currently recruiting a Hotel Receptionist for this beautiful town centre hotel. You will work closely with all departments within the hotel to ensure a first class experience to all hotel guests.
As Hotel Receptionist duties will include:
- Answering all incoming telephone calls with a friendly & professional manner
- Checking guests in and out on the front desk
- Dealing with customer complaints and queries
- Assisting with enquiries & reservations for the hotel, restaurant, conferences & events
- Daily administrative duties for bookings and reservations
- Processing payments
- Ensuring a smooth operation and hand over between shifts
- Providing a first class customer service at all times
- Communicating well with other departments within the hotel
As Hotel Receptionist someone with previous Hotel or Reception experience would be preferred, but ultimately someone who has the right attitude, a friendly smiley face and willing to learn on the job is what we are looking for. This role would suit someone who has work in retail, hospitality, customer service or as receptionist or reservationist.

We are initially looking to recruit on a temporary basis, with a view to go permanent for the right candidate. The hours of work will be 07:00am- 15:30 and 14:30-23:00. You will work 5 days over 7 so will be required to work evenings and weekends.
