Senior Business Development Manager
Location: Harrogate (Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 basic, OTE £75,000
Hours: Full-time

We are recruiting for a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join a growing sales team. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities and client relationships within the Unified Communications (UC) sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategies and drive new business opportunities in the UC space
  • Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events
  • Generate and qualify leads, converting them into long-term clients
  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales, consistently meeting targets
  • Build and maintain a detailed sales pipeline, ensuring regular client follow-ups
  • Deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to prospective clients
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling within existing accounts
  • Support clients through the sales lifecycle, ensuring a smooth transition to professional services
  • Maintain an accurate database of prospects, clients, and partners using CRM software
  • Work with internal teams to provide reporting, forecasts, and industry insights
  • Manage and close sales opportunities with decision-makers across various industries

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly in Unified Communications (UC) Managed Services or Enterprise Software
  • Strong understanding of the UC and telecoms market
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales pipeline management
  • Ability to travel as required and attend the office at least twice a week
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a consultative sales approach
