Mechanical Fitters

North Yorkshire (Harrogate area)

We are looking for a number of Mechanical Fitters, available to start in the next couple of weeks, for a site around the Harrogate area. The work will be carried out on Water Treatment sites and can lead to long term opportunities. 

New schemes of work are due to start in early 2025 so now is a great time to get your foot in the door in a sector which is about to take off

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and maintain ductile iron pipes and related systems.
  • Perform pipefitting tasks including cutting, threading, and bending pipes.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the plant.

Essential/Desired Quals

  • CSCS card - essential
  • Water Industry experience - highly desired
