Mechanical Fitter Plumber
Harrogate, £30000, on-call pay and overtime available, public sector benefits, 37.5 hours per week.

Immediate opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in HVAC, commercial plumbing, refrigeration, or similar to undertake a day shift, site-based maintenance role.

The role of Mechanical Fitter Plumber
?Attending breakdowns and undertaking planned and preventative maintenance on a large commercial site in the harrogate area
?Working with plant and associated equipment, heating, ventilation, TMV and boiler controls
?Assisting in the installation of new plant equipment
?HVAC installation and maintenance work
?Working with building control and automation
?Maintaining hot and cold water systems, undertaking water hygiene testing
?Working with pumps and compressors
?Maintaining generator engines, refrigeration units
?Ensuring drainage and sewage systems work effectively
?Repairing and replacing toilets, sinks and macerators
?Working on large projects when required

The person
?Experienced working in facilities, buildings maintenance, HVAC or commercial plumbing, pipe fitting role previously
?we are very keen to hear from MOD trained engineers
?Ideally multi skilled across maintenance spectrum.
?A can do attitude and a proven background and a stable career
?Holds City & Guilds course Mechanical Engineering Part II (205-3) OR N.V.Q. Level III or EITB Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or plumbing (or equivalent/experienced)
?Gas qualifications are not required
