Good In / Out Warehouse Operator - FLT Driver

Pay: £11.79 - £13 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent
Are you an experienced Warehouse Operator looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a capable and reliable individual to manage the 'Good In / Out' operations and run the department independently.
Important: A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is required for this role.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee the 'Good In / Out' warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient flow of goods.
- Manage the loading and unloading of deliveries (FLT licence required).
- Sort, store, and move stock throughout the warehouse, maintaining an organized environment.
- Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch (both UK & Export).
- Handle dispatch paperwork and ensure all import/export documentation is correct.
- Use our order management system (Microsoft Dynamics) to manage stock levels and orders.
- Assist with regular stock control and inventory checks.
- Collaborate with other teams, including Customer Service and Commercial, to ensure accurate order processing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, productive workspace.
- Carry out general housekeeping duties to ensure the warehouse is clean and well-maintained.
What We're Looking For:
- Solid experience in a warehouse environment, with a focus on 'Good In / Out' processes.
- A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is essential.
- Basic computer skills (training will be provided on systems).
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the warehouse department.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with import/export shipping is preferred but not essential.
