We are currently supporting a dynamic and busy legal firm looking for a dedicated Legal Conveyancing Assistant to join their team. The practice is committed to providing exceptional service in both residential and commercial conveyancing transactions. 

The role:

  • Audio and copy typing, digital dictation, file opening, and client onboarding.
  • Liaise with clients and third parties in the office and by telephone.
  • Perform reception duties.
  • Maintain diaries and make appointments.
  • Handle filing and other clerical duties.
  • Manage file closing, archiving, and strong room maintenance.
  • Update legal reference materials.
  • Sort and prepare outgoing mail and DX.
  • Photocopy and scan documents as required.
  • Draft and prepare bills and other documents.
  • Support other assistants as needed.
  • Prepare instructions for Fee Earners to pass to the Client Services Administration Department.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Improve office procedures.
  • Undertake specific training and self-development.

Requirements: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communications. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Prior experience as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal or experienced administrator. 
  • Experience in a conveyancing department however not essential.
  • Available immediately.
