We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to assist on Thursday 21st November with their upcoming knitting and stitching show at the Conference Centre in Harrogate.Â
Job: Events Assistant
Location: Harrogate
Date and hours: Thursday 21st November: 09.30am - 16.30pm
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all visitors at the stand.
- Engage with customers and talk about products and what they do.
- Demonstrate the punch needle craft (training will be provided from 09:30/10:00).
- Inform customers about bundle offers to encourage upsells.
- Process sales through an iPad Zettle machine, ensuring payments are completed.
- Offer email receipts and encourage customers to join newsletters.
Requirements:
- Passion for crafts or the creative industry (Not essential)
- Comfortable standing for long periods.
- Friendly and chatty demeanour.
