The role of the Social Media Strategist is to develop the social media service of our agency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working for a wide range of clients developing their social media presence in both organic and paid social mediums across a range of platforms including but not exclusive to Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development - develop organic social media management for the agency.
  • Build core relationships with key clients of varying levels and lead client contact for organic social media.
  • Content creation- create, implement and manage high-quality and engaging content across all social media platforms, including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Create visual assets for the paid team.
  • Showcase proficiency in using social media management tools and technologies for creation, scheduling and reporting.
  • Reporting - ensuring all social activity is in line with the strategy and KPIs and reported monthly with effective measurement to showcase ROI.
  • Pitching - work with the wider team on the preparation of integrated pitches.
  • Ensuring our client satisfaction is always glowing and our output is to the highest standards.
  • Deliver projects with excellence (error-free, on brief, on budget, on time).
  • Financial management, forecasting, estimating and business generation.
  • Assist and work closely with the paid team to influence paid social strategy.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business and our clients' overarching marketing strategy, brand identity and business goals.
  • Identify target audience segments and tailor content to engage and grow these communities.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner. Utilise content from events or conferences for both the agency and our clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for media growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all media channels
  • Develop and execute comprehensive media plans to achieve marketing objectives
  • Any other duty that may be required in line with the business needs

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant agency experience required.
  • Experience in content creation and video optimisation is required.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced industry and company.
  • Creative and commercially minded.
  • Proven experience in managing social media accounts for B2B and B2C.
  • Full understanding of the latest developments in social media.
  • Enjoy managing their own workload and working with different teams.
  • Driven, positive, proactive, upbeat and a team player willing to roll their sleeves up.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Place of work:

The role of Social Media Strategist is an office based role, with the possibility of also working from home.

Salary

£30K to £33K per annum, depending on experience and skill set.
