Description
- Assist in the end to end payroll process for
- Ensure new starter and leaver information is uploaded and accurate
- Address payroll-related queries from staff
- Work closely with HR to ensure all payroll changes are reflected accurately
- Prepare payroll reports for management as required
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies
- Participate in audits related to payroll
- Support with other finance-related tasks as required
Profile
A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in a similar payroll role is preferred but not essential
- Background in accounts or strong interest in getting into the payroll industry
- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Excel
