A client of ours, a leading Electrical Compliance business,have recently secured a number of new contracts and are looking to recruit experienced Electrical Testers to add to their expanding testing division. They are recruiting for multiple positions in the Harrogate/ Leeds areas, looking for candidates experienced carrying out fixed wire testing within commercial properties.This is purely a testing role with no remedial works required!!
The ideal candidate will be time served, 18th edition and C&G 2391 or 2394/5 qualified (AM2 or NVQ Level 3 electrical installation advantageous). This is a permanent role available for an immediate start with a competitive bonus scheme in place to significantly boost earnings (On target earnings of 50k+). The role comes with a company vehicle plus fuel card and travel time. Candidates must be able to pass a CRB check. Telephone interviews will be carried out asap for ideal candidates.
Hours - 40 hours basic - Mayrequire Night/ Twilight work + 1 weekend per month
Company Car + Travel time + Fuel Card + PDA + Full PPE provided.
Role Description
- The test and inspection of fixed wire installations across commercial sites
- Thorough completion of testing reports and certificates to NICEIC standards
- No remedial actions to be carried out, only testing and reporting on current condition
- Mobile role working from home with van and all equipment supplied
- Work to be carried out to according to up to date 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Acting as a representative on behalf of the client in a customer facing position
- Must be appropriately qualified and experienced in fixed wire testing and inspection
- Working knowledge and experience of PAT Testing
- Fully funded company vehicle provided
- Test equipment also provided
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in carrying out electrical testing in commercial environments.
- City & Guilds 2391/ 2394/5 Test and Inspection qualified (ideal) - AM2 or NVQ level 3 will also be considered
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Must have a proven track record of testing and inspection of commercial fixed wire installations (essential)
