Role: Deputy General Manager Contemporary Bar/Restaurant
Location: Ilkley / Harrogate / North Leeds commutable
Salary: Up to £35k
Were recruiting a Deputy General Manager for a contemporary Bar and Food Operation.
Cocktails /Bar / Live Music / Restaurant concept and we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join the team in a senior role, assisting in leading the operation.
This is a new concept launch and as DGM you will be a key part of launch and training of the team.
The role:
* Assist in managing of the day-to-day operation of this contemporary bar / food operation.
* Lead and manage / train and direct your team, coaching on the job, to ensure the BEST level of service and standards are delivered.
*Drive liquor and food sales, implement new procedures and develop the team, training in all areas to a high standard.
*Working to sales targets and budgets, controlling stock and staffing levels.
* Managing of events and functions
The candidate:
You will have solid experience in a Managerial role ideally from a high-volume bar/restaurant operation.
You will have exceptional customer service skills, a big personality and thoroughly enjoy a customer facing role.
. You will be a natural leader of your team, have strong knowledge of service standards and be a natural at training and motivating a team.
* An understanding of stock takes labour controls and sales forecasts & budgets is also required.
