An ambitious and driven Business Development Manager is needed to join a fast-growing EdTech company based in Harrogate on a full-time basis. This role focuses on delivering high-quality B2B video demonstrations of an industry-leading maths and English platform to highly qualified leads, helping training providers, colleges, and businesses find the best solutions for their learners.
This is a consultative sales role, where success is based on your ability to build relationships, understand client needs, and showcase the value of the platform. With an uncapped commission structure, first-year earnings are expected to exceed £50,000, with high performers earning significantly more.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective video demonstrations of the maths and English platform to potential clients
- Work with warm, inbound leads, guiding them from initial interest to contract signing
- Develop strong relationships with training providers, colleges, and businesses, ensuring a consultative approach to sales
- Manage and nurture a pipeline of interested clients, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions
- Identify opportunities to upsell and expand client contracts, maximising revenue potential
- Collaborate with the marketing team to refine messaging and improve conversion rates
- Work towards individual and team sales targets, contributing to the company's continued growth
Required Skills:
- Experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in EdTech, SaaS, or a similar sector
- Confident and professional communicator, comfortable delivering video presentations and demos
- Strong relationship-building skills - able to consult and guide clients through the decision-making process
- A proactive and target-driven mindset, focused on achieving and exceeding sales goals
- Organised and disciplined in managing a sales pipeline and scheduling follow-ups
- Comfortable using CRM systems to track and manage leads effectively
